Plumbing is Big Business

Just a quick post today to tell you all how much the plumbing business actually makes annually. I must admit even as a guy who has spent most of his adult life working as a plumber I was even astounded at the numbers. The fact of the matter is that plumbers earn a handsome living. The annual plumbing expenditures in the United States of America is in the tens of Billions of dollars. Yes folks, I said Billions with a B. That is huge! Think about that for a moment. We are talking about tens of thousands of millions of dollars. Whoa! Now I know that for our spending happy government that isn't much but for a little 'ol plumber like me, that is quite a bit of money. I imagine that its a lot for you too! OK folks I told you that this post would be short and I am going to keep my word. You know how I can get when the fingers start moving on the keyboard. I can lose track of things and end up with 500 words in 10 minutes. I promise I won't do that this time and I am going to cut it off. Just remember that the plumbing business isn't going anywhere and with annual numbers like that it just might be a profession that you could recommend to your kids. Now I know it doesn't have the glitz and glamour of something like medicine, but the money isn't too far off :)
